We applied for a proposal for the reconstruction of an elementary school in Edogawa Ward.

In Among Tokyo, livable blessed with water and green land,
we planned an ecological elementary school by using the green court.

The existing rectangular gymnasium is surrounded by a U-shape with a green court and a new building .
Children, teachers and locals can walk the green couet to access each floor.

The green court provides the mobility of the entire site.
Not only the connection from the building to the playground,
but also the connection from the school to the community is created
because the society surrounds the elementary school along the green court.

In addition to making connections, the Green Court also plays a role in reducing total energy consumption
as an ecosystem surrounding the building.

A jungle-like vegetation is applied and rainwater utilization (filtration) mist dances.
We will incorporate this environment from the open space into the classroom
and create an ecological system that relies on the natural environment as much as possible.

By making the school ecological, not only is it environmentally friendly,
but stress relief and a sense of security from the power of green will have a positive effect on education.
